2000 Honda Civic EX

The 2000 Honda Civic EX comes in two incarnations: as a coupe and as a sedan (There is also an EX version dubbed the "EX with ABS"). It is one of the higher-end trims of the Honda Civic released in the 2000 model year.

Engine and Transmissions:

The 2000 EX has a 1.6-liter 127-horsepower 4-cylinder engine. A 5-speed manual is the standard transmission, although there was an option to get one with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Features:

As far as safety features go, power door locks and power windows are standard in the 2000 EX, as well ABS brakes and driver and passenger airbags. Some 2000s EXs might also have vehicle anti-theft systems.

Interior:

Cruise control, tachometer, tilt steering wheel, sunroof, air conditioning and a stereo system consisting of a radio and CD player are standard in 2000 EXs. Apart from the tiit steering wheels, none of the aforementioned features are either standard or available in the DX and HX versions of the Honda Civic.

Exterior:

The 2000 EX is either a two-door (coupe) or four-door (sedan) vehicle. All 2000 EXs all come with standard 14-inch wheels (alloys were optional), as well as rear window defoggers. Some EXs might have fog lights, rear spoilers, and mud guards. Colors available are Roma Red, Taffeta White, and Vogue Silver Metallic.

EX With ABS:

It would appear that there is not much difference between 2000 EXs with ABS and the EX sedan, since the latter has ABS brakes as well. However, the EX with ABS is a coupe. Also, this differentiates it from the regular EX coupe, which regularly does not have ABS.
