2000 Honda Civic HX CVT with Side Airbags

The 2000 Honda Civic HX CVT with Side Airbags (HX CVT SA) is basically a member of the HX trim in the 2000 model year that comes with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) and front side airbags, which were optional rather than standard features.

Engines, Transmissions and Fuel Economy:

All 2000 HX CVT SAs have 1.6-liter 115-horsepower 4-cylinder engines; it has nine more horses than the DX engines. With its 1-speed CVT, the fuel economy is measured at around 34/38 mpg.

Safety Features:

As far as safety features go, power door locks and power windows are standard in the 2000 HX CVT SA, as well as driver and passenger airbags. Some 2000s HX CVT SAs might also have keyless entry systems. This is an improvement over the DX models, which, save for the airbags, do not even have some of the aforementioned features as options.

Interior:

A tachometer is standard in the 2000 HX CVT SA, a feature completely absent from DXs. Although it is common to find them with air conditioning and CD stereo systems, bear in mind that these are actually optional features. In fact, apart from the standard car radio, most of the popular interior featureslike cruise control, tachometer and driver multi-adjustable power seat - are not available at all.

Exterior:

The 2000 HX CVT SA is a coupe, having two doors. All of them come with standard 14-inch alloy wheels, as well as rear window defoggers. Some might have fog lights, rear spoilers, and mud guards. Colors available are Roma Red, Taffeta White and Vogue Silver Metallic.
