2003 Honda Civic HX with Side Airbags

The 2003 Honda Civic HX with Side Airbags (HX SA) is an alternate HX trim with side airbags, an optional feature of the Civic for the 2003 model year. 

Engines, Transmissions and Fuel Economy:

The 2003 Civic HX SA has a 1.7-litre 117-horsepower inline 4-cylinder engine. Some come with a 5-speed manual overdrive transmission that gives a fuel economy of 36/44 mpg; others have a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with a fuel economy of 35/40 mpg.

Safety Features:

Power door locks, vehicle anti-theft system, trunk anti-trap device, and driver and passenger airbags are standard safety features in the 2003 Civic HX SA. Getting a keyless entry system in the HX was made an option in this model year.

Interior Features:

Cruise control, tachometer, tilt steering wheel and a radio/CD player stereo system are standard in the 2003 Civic HX SA, with a second-row folding seat. Air conditioning and cassette players were made optional.

Exterior Features:

The 2003 Civic HX SA only comes as a two-door coupe with 14-inch alloy wheels. Standard exterior features include power adjustable side mirrors, interval wipers and rear window defogger. Optional features include fog lights, rear spoiler, and splash or mud guards.

Colors:

The 2003 Civic HX SA is available in five colors: Eternal Blue Pearl, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Rallye Red, Satin Silver Metallic, and Taffeta White. The black, red and silver cars come with black cloth interiors, while the blue and white ones have ivory cloth interiors.
