2003 Honda Civic LX
The 2003 Honda Civic LX is considered the luxury version of the Civic, and it comes in either a coupe or sedan.
Engines, Transmissions and Fuel Economy:
The 2003 Civic LX has a 1.7-litre 115-horsepower inline 4-cylinder engine, with a 5-speed manual overdrive transmission and front-wheel drivetrain. Fuel economy is 32 mpg (miles per gallon) for the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
Safety Features:
Power door locks and windows, vehicle anti-theft system, trunk anti-trap device, and driver and passenger airbags are standard safety features in the 2003 Civic LX (The sedan version has additional child safety door locks). Getting a keyless entry system in the LX was made an option.
Interior Features:
Air conditioning, cruise control, tachometer, tilt steering wheel with mounted controls, a second-row folding seat, and a radio/CD player stereo system are standard in the 2003 Civic LX. Cassette players were made optional.
Exterior Features:
The 2003 Civic LX comes as a two-door coupe or a four-door sedan, and rides on 14-inch steel wheels. Standard exterior features include power adjustable side mirrors, interval wipers and rear window defogger; optional features include fog lights, rear spoiler, and splash or mud guards.
Colors:
The 2003 Civic LX is available in five colors: Eternal Blue Pearl, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Rallye Red, Satin Silver Metallic and Taffeta White. The black, red and silver cars come with black cloth interiors, while the blue and white ones have ivory cloth interiors.
Other Versions:
There is also a 2003 Civic LX with front side air bags (and a manual transmission), another with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a third with both front side air bags and automatic transmission. All three alternate trims also come as coupes or sedans.
