Infiniti took their successful FX45 and completed redesigned it for 2009. With new looks inside and out and a larger, more powerful engine, this new FX is one of the sportiest SUV's on the market today.
The FX50 packs some serious muscle under it's bulging hood. The new 5.0-liter V8 pumps out a very respectable 390-hp. All that power is sent through a new 7-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode. That manual mode is activated using solid magnesium steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. New 21-inch rims and tires bolt to a fully-independent suspension. Combine all of this and you have an SUV that can put many sport sedans to shame. Leather clad 8-way power adjustable, heated and cooled front seats with driver memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, moonroof, and more add to the sense of opulence in this vehicle. Safety is covered with traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and an assortment of air-bags that include curtain style air-bags for both rows of seats.
