The Subaru Legacy is a full-time all-wheel drive sedan that provides an exciting driving experience. With its sporty looks and increased performance, it is an ideal everyday car with a sports car attitude.

With the availability of a 245-hp 6-cylinder Boxer engine option, 18-inch wheels and a Bilstein sport suspension, the Legacy can be well equipped for spirited performance driving. All trims come standard with full time all-wheel drive. The five-speed automatic transmission can be manually shifted via paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel. A unique SI-Drive system is also available that allows three different driving modes: "Intelligent," "Sport" and "Sport Sharp." Subaru's already capable safety features receive a standard tire-pressure monitor as well.

For 2009, the Subaru Legacy receives a new 385-watt harman/kardon audio system on most trims.

Intelligence on the Upcoming Subaru Legacy Models The Subaru Legacy has been completely redesigned inside and out for 2010. New standard features include steering wheel audio controls, electric parking brake with a hill hold function, double-wishbone rear suspension, brake assist, traction control, stability control, larger fuel tank, larger trunk, overhead console, and auto-on headlights.

Resale Value for the 2009 Subaru Legacy
When considering the purchase of a new vehicle, it's important to keep in mind what the eventual resale value will be. It is expected that the 2009 Subaru Legacy will have a very good resale value. This assumes that after 3 to of 5 years of ownership the vehicle will be in good condition. Other factors include the optional equipment you choose and the total mileage on your vehicle.
