Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Silverado Classic is the old model Silverado still in production. The Chevrolet 195hp 4.3-liter V-6 is standard in the Classic. There are also a a 285hp 4.8-liter V-8 or a 295hp 5.3-liter V-8. The SS version comes with an even more powerful 345hp 6.0-liter V-8. All Classics wither come with a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.
