Infiniti QX56 Generations

For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."

The QX56 includes 2nd-row captains chairs to provide standard 7-passenger seating, but can be equipped with a rear bench seat to increase capacity to 8. It comes standard with a power-folding third-row seat, Bluetooth, navigation, and a power liftgate. To allow for safer and easier driving, HID headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera are standard. Available in rear- or four-wheel drive it is powered by a 320-hp 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include active front head restraints, an electronic stability system, side curtain and front side-impact airbags, and ABS with brake assist.

2004 - 2010 Infiniti QX56

Major changes included: 2004-present: Still in its first generation, the QX56 is powered by a 5.6 liter V8 the produces 320 horsepower and allows it to tow up to 8900 lbs. It is available in All-Mode 4WD and 2WD versions. A total of 12 cupholders accompany the three rows of seating, and a power window vents, rear lift gate, and locks are only a few of the many appointments that can be found in this full sized SUV.
