International RXT Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The RXT is available in two trims: base, and fifth-wheel (which features a flat bed in place of a pickup). The base is powered by a 230 hp International VT 365 diesel V8 capable of 540 lb-ft of torque. The fifth-wheel version is powered by a 310 hp DT570 diesel capable of 950 lb-ft of torque. The base is mated to an Allison HS five-speed automatic transmission while the fifth-wheel version is mated to a six-speed automatic. The RXT comes in two-wheel drive and has a towing capacity of 22,500 lbs.
