Isuzu i-290 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The i-290 is powered by a 185-hp, 2.9-liter four-cylinder mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The i-290 comes in one basic 'S' trim and one bodystyle, an extended cab. The truck has a payload just over 1,500lbs and can tow up to 3,200 lbs when equipped with the automatic transmission. Standard equipment features include front airbags with passenger sensing, air conditioning, 15" aluminum wheels, tire pressure monitoring and automatic headlights.
