Jaguar X-Type Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Jaguar X-Type comes in a sedan or sportwagon. It has standard all-wheel drive, alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes, and dynamic stability control. It seats five people in its leather interior with wood veneer or carbon-fiber trim. It is powered by a 227 hp 3.0-liter V-6 that is controlled by a five-speed automatic transmission.

It was offered as a 3.0 liter sedan and a 3.0 liter wagon model. Both were powered by a 3.0 liter V6 that produced 227 horsepower.
