Kia Rio5 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Rio5 seats 5 passengers and is powered by a 110-hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that is controlled by either a standard five-speed manual transmission, or a four-speed automatic. Standard features include independent front suspension, semi-independent rear suspension, air conditioning and power steering. The SX trim is equipped with fog lamps, a rear spoiler, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Safety features include seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags and front seat belt pretensioners.

2006 - 2009 Kia Rio5
Major changes included: The second generation Rio5 is powered by a new 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine and is offered in a hathback layout only. Interior changes include a leather-wrapped steering wheel while exterior changes are limited to new wheels. | |
