Mazda CX-9 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The CX-9 is available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive in one of three models: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Power comes from a 273-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic transmission that has manual gear selection capability. Sport and Touring models feature 18-inch alloy wheels while the Grand Touring rides on 20-inch wheels. Folding third-row seats and a sliding second-row creates a surprisingly roomy cargo space. Standard safety equipment includes side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats, anti-lock brakes, stability control with roll control and tire pressure monitoring.

2007 - 2010 Mazda CX-9
Major changes included: The CX-9 is a 7-passenger SUV that is powered by a 3.5 liter V6. It is available in Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims. Standard safety features include antilock brakes, traction control, stability control and side curtain airbags with rollover sensors. An optional Navigation System features rear backup camera. |  |
