The front-wheel drive John Cooper Works Clubman three-door hatchback represents the peak of MINI performance and utility. The turbocharged direct injection 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 208 horsepower and features an overboost function pushes the maximum torque from 192 lbs-ft to 207 lbs-ft. A six-speed manual is the only transmission available. The Clubman is nearly ten inches longer than the Cooper, and features a rear-opening third passenger-side door and pneumatically-assisted split rear cargo doors. Standard equipment includes exclusive 17-inch cross-spoke wheels with run-flat performance tires, piano black interior trim, Dynamic Stability Control, electronic differential lock control, and the debut of Dynamic Traction Control.
