Mitsubishi Eclipse Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Eclipse has three trims: GS, GS-Sport, and GT. Power is delivered by a 162-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic with manual shift mode. A 265-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine powers the GT and comes with a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic. Standard safety features include vehicle stability control with traction control, frontal-impact, side-impact and side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The following model years make up the most recent Mitsubishi Eclipse generations:
2006 - 2010 Mitsubishi Eclipse
