Nissan Pathfinder Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Pathfinder is equipped with a 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 266-hp. A 5.6-liter 310-hp V8 is available on the four-wheel drive version. Both engines are mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The Pathfinder seats seven and includes such safety features as active head restraints, six airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control and tire pressure monitoring.

2005 - 2010 Nissan Pathfinder
Major changes included: The third generation Pathfinder is powered by a 4.0 liter V6 with an optional 5.6-liter V8 engine added in 2008. It is available in S, SE, SE Off Road, and LE trims. Navigation, Leather, and a premium Bose sound system are available in optional packages. | |
