Toyota FJ Cruiser Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The FJ Cruiser is available in one trim with a choice of three drivetrains: a rear-wheel-drive version equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission, a part-time four-wheel-drive version with a five-speed automatic transmission, or a full-time four-wheel-drive version with a six-speed manual transmission. All versions are powered by a 259 hp 4.0-liter V-6 engine. The FJ Cruiser seats up to five passengers. Safety features include Toyota's STAR Safety System that includes vehicle stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist. Dual-stage front airbags, side-curtain and front-seat side airbags, and front active headrests are standard.

2007 - 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Major changes included: The all new FJ Cruiser is powered by a 4.0 liter V6 engine, available in 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. Styling is reminiscent of the FJ40 Land Cruiser. An available “Off-Road Package” adds BFG Rugged Trail tires on alloy rims as well as Bilstein shock absorbers. | |
