Toyota Sequoia Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The four-door seven- or eight-passenger Sequoia comes in three trims: SR5, Limited and Platinum. Available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, the Sequoia's powerteams are a standard 310-hp 4.6-liter V8 engine or an optional 381-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine; both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include driver and front passenger knee airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control.

2008 - 2010 Toyota Sequoia
Major changes included: The second generation Sequoia is based on the Tundra platform. It is available in SR5, limited, and Platinum trims. All have an available 5.7 liter V8 engine.
